Imagine being able to entertain the invited guests at your next party with a world class, National Champion of Magic. Bob Raynor is a full time professional magician with over 25 years of experience. See the "Show Selections" (at the left) for the types of magic he performs. In addition, for ten years he has taught, or is presently teaching magic, at the University of California Santa Barbara, California State University, Northridge, CA. the Magic University at the Magic Castle, Hollywood, CA. or at the Magic Learning Center. He presently teaching magic at Pierce College, Woodland Hills, CA. He has done a great many performances at the Magic Castle, where his picture has been placed on the 'Wall of Fame'.
He has also done numerous performances at the Las Vegas strip's Riviera Hotel. All shows are highly interactive, and really get your guests involved in the action. Fun and lots of laughter for everyone but embarrassment for none. Shows for adults, families and children, throughout Los Angeles, Greater Los Angeles and Southern California. Reasonable rates.

Los Angeles Magician's Children's Magic Shows
Shows are tailored to fit the ages of the children. They are shows that the children will love and remember long afterwards and which the whole family will cherish. Lots of laughs, good magic and plenty of interaction and participation. If your child likes HARRY POTTER he/she will love this show. Los Angeles Magician's School Magic Shows
Shows especially designed for Preschools, Kindergartens, Grade Schools Day Camps or groups with any combination of ages. Lots of laughter, great fun and plenty of participation and interaction. Morning or Daytime and week day shows are no problem. Special learning themes can be used. Click on School Shows in the menu.
Walk Around Strolling Magic by Los Angels Magician
Astounding, Close-up magic frequently done within eighteen inches of the spectators eyes or right in their hands. Great for cocktail hour, to help get the party rolling and to help guests meet one another and share a magical experience. This is the type of magic Mr. Raynor performed when he won the National Championship of Magic, for the Society of American Magicians. Your guests will be entertained by 'World Class' magic. Helps the guests to mix, get in the party mood and join in the festivities. Insures that your party will be successful and well remembered. Can perform for up to 50 people per hour. Close-up Magic by National Chanpion Magician from Los Angeles
.The magic is similar to that done in the above but the magician generally works behind a table and can make use of the surface to expand the variety of magic which can be performed. Creates a greater sense of intimacy and involvement for the spectator. Allows for a 'Show' style format. This is the type of magic done in the Close-Up Gallery at the Magic Castle. It is the type of magic for which Bob Raynor won the National Championship. May be performed for up to about 25 people and is a very intimate magical experience. Great as an after dinner show in your home or at a restaurant.
Los Angeles Magician's Parlor Magic Shows:
This type of magic show gets its name from the fact that it is frequently done in a setting such as your living room or parlor. It is done for up to about 50 people. Each person can be seated quite close to the performer and can see everything very well. Props are larger than for Close-Up magic and the style of performance involves the use of many people from the audience. It is a great source of fun, with hilarious situations where your friends and acquaintances actually become part of the show. With Bob's handling their is never any embarrassment or put downs.
Magic Shows for Seniors in Greater Los Angeles
Shows designed for Seniors. Special material has been developed to be or interest and be entertaining to Seniors. For audiences of as few as ten or as many as 100 people. These can be done in private homes or homes with Assisted Living. Routines include lots of participation by the audience including an hilarious piece called 'An Experiment in the Power of Love' and who would know more about love than a couple who have been married for 40 or more years. A special routine is built around a birthday for someone in the audience. That person is turned into a real magician with the power of a Magic. Extremely funny but is not embarrassing. Great entertainment for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Retirements or Holidays.
Stage Magic Shows by Los Angeles Magician:
These shows are intended to entertain up to two hundred or more people and require a stage or raised platform. Much larger props are used. Lots of audience participation. Great fun and laughter for all. Shows usually run up to forty minutes. Bob is very adept at being an M. C. and can, if you desire, introduce the other entertainers or speakers on your program.

Bob Raynor's background includes several years as a professional TV writer and is a member of the Screen Writer's Guild. This talent is put to use to create special material which can highlight your guest(s) of honor, a corporate product or to punch home any type of sales promotion, either corporate or as a charitable fund raiser.. Works well with small or large audiences. All the fun of the other shows but with a meaningful well directed purpose.

Los Angele's best Magicians
This is a complete show of just Close-Up Magic. It features up to three different world class magicians and can be performed up to three times on any given play date, as the venue may require. This show, set a record of being the longest running, independent, Close Up Magic show, to ever run in the greater Los Angeles area. Featured performers included many International Award Winners as well as many 'Magician of the Year' award winners and nominees from the Magic Castle in Hollywood. Great for corporate conventions or trade show parties.
Corporate Magic Theme Functions
Trade Shows, Hospitality Suites, Holiday Parties, Promotions and Retirements. We also offer special Magic tricks, or complete Magic Party Favor bags, which are designed to promote your product.
