Use Magic Theme Table Decorations

Have Fun. Make your own Top Hat		Turn the Top Hat into a Table Center Piece
You will need an appropriate sized form to build on. A 36 oz. coffee can is large enough, but a fruit can or other container of this or a larger size will do. . Cut a circle out of a piece of black poster board about 4"greater in diameter than the container Next cut a hole in the center, a little smaller than the size of the diameter of the container. This will be the brim of the hat. Use Scotch tape to glue the brim in place. Wrap the outside of the container with black construction paper or black shinny wrapping paper and hold in place with Scotch Tape. Add some decorations and you have a magic theme center piece. Be sure to take some pictures.		Once you have the hat you can put a toy stuffed rabbit in it. Fill the bottom of the crown with bunched up newspaper to get the rabbit to the right height. Or use some florist type clay to hold stakes and provide balance. Fill around it with colored tissue paper or Easter Bunny type grass. If you do not have a rabbit any Teddy will do which will fit appropriately in the hat. Give him a large red (ribbon) bow tie and he becomes a "Magician in the Hat". Or place a white scarf, or white gloves on top as shown in the drawing below. Stuffed or Foam Bunnies are available at party stores as well as Star Sparkle sticks.
